  Accounts/Upgrades
Q: How long does it take to have my account setup?
A: Your hosting account will be setup within one to two business days.  Some delay may be needed if additional information is needed from you.
 
Q: What details do you require in order to setup my hosting account?
A: We will require that you email us the domain name you wish for us to host.  Then you will need to set up your DNS record to point to us.  See the support article for more details.
 
Q: Can I upgrade my account after I have ordered?
A: You may easily upgrade any feature of your account by contacting us by stating your request.  The upgradeable features and the rates may be found here.
 
  Features
Q: What features are available within the Plesk Control Panel?
A: Plesk provides many comprehensive features including:
  • Database management, allowing you complete control of your MySQL and Microsoft SQL databases, using phpMyAdmin and the Microsoft equivalent.
     
  • Online File Manager. which allows you to upload single files, or multiple files inside a zipped archive which it extracts automatically. The File Manager also allows you to change file permissions, rename files, and copy/move files.
     
  • Hotlink protection, you may specify which file-types should have protection and which external domains may link to your files.
     
  • ODBC DSN controls, allowing you to create and manage ODBC entries.
     
  • Back Up/Restore functions, allowing you to save "snap-shots" of your web site.
     
  • Protected URLs, allowing you to restrict access to parts of your site.
     
  • Mailbox management, allowing you to create mail boxes and direct access to Horde web mail.
     
  • Web Users and FTP Account management, allowing you to create sub-accounts and additional FTP logins.
     
  • And more...
Q: What ASP Components do you support, and may I install my own?
A: We currently support Persits ASPJpeg and ASPUpload.  Both work with both ASP and ASP.NET.   If you wish to use any other component, then we have some strict guidelines.  Due to security reasons we will not install any independent or less-known component.  We will also require you to prove that you own the license of said component.
 
Q: What scripting and database platforms do you support?
A: Depending on your plan you may use ASP, ASP.NET, PHP 4.x or 5.x, and CGI/Perl; and Microsoft SQL 2005 and MySQL databases are available.
 
  Billing and Payments
Q: What happens if I exceed my maximum quotas, such as my web space or monthly transfer?
A: Our system will automatically email you a notification that you are reaching your limits.  At which point you should consider upgrading your account.  If you do in fact go over you will be charged the overage rates found here.
 
Q: How often do I need to pay, and what happens once my account expires?
A: You may pay on a monthly basis, or pay for any amount of months up to a year in advance.  Once your account is nearing expiration you will have an option to pay for additional months.  If you fail to pay for additional months your hosting account will be automatically disabled on the 15th of the following unpaid month.  To avoid interruption payments should be received before the 1st of the following unpaid month.
 
Q: What are your subscription contract terms?
A: You must pay for hosting time in-advance.  You pay for just a month, or pay for as many months up to a year.   Your minimum payment must be one month; and you must pay for complete months.
 
Q: How do refunds work and when will they be granted?
A: The first month of hosting service you order from us may be canceled and refunded within the first 30 days (as outlined in our 30 day money back guarantee).  However, if we terminate your service because of any violations outlined in our Terms of Use, no refund will be granted.

If you are no longer interested in our services or we are no longer able to provide you with our hosting services, then we will refund you only complete months that you have not yet used. In other words we will not refund the current month's service, but we will refund your money for months you paid in advanced.

If you break any terms of our service and your account is terminated, then refunds may not be granted. This means if we terminate your account you will lose any money you have paid to our services to help cover the damages you have caused.
